Informative meeting about Syria and the Syrian refugees in Denmark

Finjan and Danish Refugee Council DRC invite  you to meet Ivan M. Nielsen, Anne Lund and Ida Harriet Lund in Finjan Kulturcafe to hear from them about the situation in Syria, what does it mean that Denmark considers areas under Assad regime control as safe places for refugees to return, and finally about the situation of the Syrian refugees in Denmark, is it finish with the people from Damascus, is started with other places? and what is the latest.

About our guests:

Ivan M. Nielsen is a former senior Danish diplomat who also has experience from South Africa’s Constitutional Assembly and Parliament, the Danish Institute for Human Rights and the UN. With Denmark’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, he served in senior positions in Afghanistan, Libya and as Special Representative for the Syria Crisis for more than eight years. As an independent, Ivan continues to support the Syrian people, including advising on how to achieve a politically negotiated end to the conflict.

Anne Lund is a legal advisor at asylum department in  Danish Refugees Council DRC, worked a lot with Syrian cases recently.

Ida Harriet Lund is advocacy employee at  asylum department in Danish Refugee Council

عن الضيوف:

ايفان نيلسن هو دبلوماسي دنماركي سابق كانت لديه الخبرة في تشكيل الدستور والبرلمان في جنوب افريقيا وفي المعهد الدنماركي لحقوق الانسان وايضا في الامم المتحدة.

شغل ايفان منصبا رفيعا في وزارة الخارجية في كل من افغانستان وليبيا وايضا كمبعوث خاص للازمة السورية لاكثر من ثمان سنوات.

كمستقل, يتابع ايفان دعم الشعب السوري من خلال النصح من اجل الوصول الى مفاوضات سياسية تفضي الى نهاية الصراع في سوريا.

آنا لوند وهي مستشارة قانونية في قسم اللجوء في مجلس اللاجئين الدنماركي.

أيدا هاريت لوند هي موظفة مناصرة في قسم اللجوء في مجلس اللاجئين الدنماركي.
